    Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez says her new TV series will show that there is no perfect image of a family and what matters is “love”. The show features a same-sex couple raising adopted, biological and foster children, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

    The 43-year-old said: “I am a non-traditional family. Me being a single mom, their dad doesn’t live at home with them. They have three stepbrothers from two moms, that’s not traditional. Do I want my children to feel weird about that? No I don’t. So putting a show like this one to me is, look, there is no perfect (image of) what family is supposed to be.”

    Lopez, who is currently dating dancer Casper Smart, divorced actor Marc Anthony in 2011 and is raising five-year-old twins, Maximilian and Emme.

    “The show is about love and that’s what I constantly remind myself of because I kind of let society get inside my head, ‘Oh, it shouldn’t be like this. I did this, I did that. I failed,’ And it’s like, no. They’re happy, they’re healthy, they’re loved more than anything in the world and they’re going to be fine. I want them to know that,” she added.

    JLo Raises Eyebrows on Britain’s Got Talent
    She’s no stranger to daring wardrobe choices, but Jennifer Lopez may have gone too far with her skimpy attire and sexy dance movies during her performance on “Britain’s Got Talent” on May 28th. The “Waiting For Tonight” songstress took the stage and sang her new single “Live It Up,” however after the dust settled, network execs were busy fielding complaints.

    A rep from television regulation company Ofcom told press, “Ofcom can confirm that it has received complaints about the Britain’s Got Talent broadcast last night, which we are assessing but not currently investigating.”

    Jennifer Lopez to performe on American Idol Final
    Jennifer Lopez is coming back to American Idol! The former judge will return to perform on the finale next month, a source exclusively tells me. No word yet if Lopez will be belting out a tune—and shaking her iconic booty—on the first or second night of the two-part finale airing May 15 and 16.

    Rumors that J.Lo was in talks to perform began circulating last week after it was reported that Idol producers tried hatching a plan to bring her back as a judge.

    Jennifer Lopez has reportedly turned down an offer to judge Simon Cowell’s US version of the talent show X Factor. The ‘Waiting for Tonight’ hitmaker was reportedly approached by the music mogul shortly after she had signed on to Simon Fuller’s ‘American Idol’, reported a website. A source claimed that Cowell began “begging her to ditch it and join the panel of US X Factor”.

    Paramedics were reportedly sent to Jennifer Lopez’s dressing room at the Grammy Awards after she “accidentally punctured herself” with her Christian Louboutin shoes. The 41-year-old took to the stage at Sunday night’s prestigious music ceremony with husband Marc Anthony to present the record of the year gong, although many were unaware of the drama she had gone through beforehand.

    Jennifer Lopez is indeed headed to the “American Idol” judges panel, and she’s getting a hefty sum for her time. According to an inside report, the “Wedding Planner” actress will received $12 million for her services on the show’s 10th season.

    The J.Lo addition comes as a bit of a surprise, especially after her initial negotiations got out of hand with unrealistic demands. A friend of Lopez told press, “She’s very excited.” Jen will be joined (most likely) by Steven Tyler when the show begins auditions.

    “The person has to be graceful under pressure, have a thick skin, and be resourceful in foreign countries, among others things. You’ll be expected to travel at a moment’s notice and must know how to adjust in each city.”

    “The job is 6 days a week, at least 12 hour days with one day off, but you may not get off for weeks. You’ll be on call 24/7 and you’ve got to be organized and always on point.”
